Why is rap so god awful?

It is awful to you because you know nothing about it, you don't know what they say, rap is usually for the streets and the streets only. A lawyer who knows nothing about the streets would not listen to it, it all depends on who you are and your likes and dislikes. What do you listen to, Country? I think that's really awful music.
