The future of comedy?

there are plenty of funny shows on tv these days. the thing is their only funny for the wrong reasons. shows these days are only funny because their so stupid and random. execs found out that all you have to do to make people laugh is come up with the stupidest things they can think of. why bother thinking and writing for hours when you can get away with fart jokes and jokes and still win an award?
