Why do the police Officers feel it is alright to mistreat muslims?

I cant speak for them : I am a retired officer of NJ...I think we all bring prejudice to many different situations, as a young officer I did.Im not proud of it...Personal growth sometimes comes with age and acceptance...lets pray that all people heal from this situation.
