Why Is the Christian Bible Filled With Jewish Texts When the NT Says Not to Pay Heed to Jewish Myths?

Most Christians don't realize that the new testament was an attempt to marry Hellenistic myth to Judaism, and that the early writers...several decades after Christ was supposed to have lived.....were battling for ideology in text.
