Whitewashing a Plasma TV?

Well the first ting is how old is your plasma tv, and second it is bad to whitewash you plasma tv because it can make it go bad faster which means that you will have to replace it alot faster. The reason that I know that is because I own a Hitachi 55' plasma tv and I called hitachi to ask them about the same thing and they said even know that feature is on the tv it is only ment to be used on the time once maybe twice of the tvs life time. So if you keep whitewashing all you are going to do is make thing worse. If you had a warenty on the tv I would call and see if it was covered. hope this helps.
