Using an ice pack on rectum? and another question?

I have personally not had this problem but anytime you put ice in an itchy area that will not hurt anything. Also I would try hydrocorizone cream 1% on the itchy area. It will say safe for topical . When my daughter had an allergic reaction to her diaper the pediatrician said it was safe to use to help her stop with itchy. I would think aloe wouldn't hurt as long as it was pure aloe. Aloe heals and is soothing. Other than what I know.. i would google or call the dr who performed your surgery and let them know the discomfort and ask if its ok with what you are doing. Im sure ice is fine but not sure about the aloe part. If you look at hyrocortizone cream 1% you will see clearly on the label that its safe maybe not up inside but in that part.
