I have a tiled laundry and due to a double adaptor on the tap connecting the washing machine and water filter?

There is a constant leak. My concern is the possible damage to the tiles eventually as ever time I fill a jug with filtered water the leak must be at least a cup of water on the floor. My husband says it shouldn't cause any damage, but I'm not so sure. Is the grouting for floor tiles the same as for swimming pool tiles? Thanks for any responses......greatly appreciated.
