Hi im a 15 year old teen. my mom is mad at me because she feels im ebrressed of her infront of friends. help!?

my mom feels that im eberressed of her when im out with my friends at shes there . i dont know maybe i am but isnt it normal with teenagers? it just doest feel right if their parents arent there and just my mom is. it shows that im not responsible by myself. so now shes madd at me beacuse of it. what should i do? what should i tell her? is this normal? help
