Economic discussion: Have you ever had to wait in line for something?
Not necessarily, especially with things such as parking, increasing the price could easily drive away consumers, especially since parking is a total convenience service which really isn't meant to be high revenue generating (unless your talking about tailgating and game day parking). Not to mention most commodities such as parking are meant to be low priced so that the whole spectrum of consumers have access to them. I personally feel that pricey parking would just tick a lot of people off and make them seek alternatives, which isn't hard since mentioned before parking is almost totally a convenience service.
