Blood pressure and heart rate?

You have borderline hypertension and need to see your Dr about medication for high blood pressure. Lay off salt and caffeine which will raise your BP. Also soda pop, especially diet is loaded with sodium (salt) so leave it alone. If your Dr doesn't think you have a BP problem see a different Dr. Take your paper with you that you are keeping your results on. Your pulse (heart rate) is up because your BP is high and it's taking a toll on the heart trying to pump the blood around causing the pulse to raise. You do need to see a Dr and get your BP down to normal which is 90/60 to 120/80. As you can see, yours is too high but not at stroke or heart attack level yet so get it down before it gets higher.
