ASAP Does it sound like he likes me?

hi so i have loved this guy for like ever. last year we both liked each other and new it but nothing happened we just became like super close friends..and it sorta died...even though i never really lost my feelings for him…. this year the heats back on... he is flirting with me a lot! like way more than ever before! and i have had people like his friends and my own friends(i haven't told them that i like him) come up to me and tell me that me and him would be like a super cute couple(: .. so this is what he does..he gives me a lot of hugs(like those hugs that mean something and area AMAZING) and lifts me up and twirls me around, he puts his arm around me, makes me laugh, always calling me out of a big crowd to come talk with him, tickles me, chears me up when im sad, ask to hang out with me, etc. sooo...does it sound like he likes me? or do you think that i will just be his friend forever? or do you think that he might actually ask me out?(:
